Show Schedule

2010 Show Schedule:

I’ve decided I’ll not be doing any art shows in 2010.  With our house going on the market shortly and the massive move that will follow time just won’t allow me to “take it on the road” this season.  I will be posting my latest artwork here on the blog and will let you know if I’m able to get out to some of the local shows this season.

2009 Show Schedule:

July 11, 2009 (Saturday) - Saratoga Art In The Park, Congress Park, Saratoga Springs, New York [10:00am to 6:00pm]

SHOW INFORMATION: The Saratoga Art in the Park shows are great and all painting styles are typically represented.   What was once strictly a “fine art” show has become a more diverse, offerings include photography, pottery, jewelry and such.  The park is beautiful and, if the weather holds out, is a nice place to spend an afternoon.  Hope to see you there.

August 8, 2009 (Saturday) - “Taste of the Sublime,” Fenimore Art Museum, Cooperstown, New York [10:00am - 4:00pm]

SHOW INFORMATION: I’ve never participated in the “Taste of the Sublime” show, but am looking forward to being a part of this event.  The setting, Fenimore Art Museum, is beautiful with a view of Otsego Lake to enjoy all afternoon.  Each participant is encouraged to provide interactive art demonstrations and should prove to be entertaining and educational.  Plus it’s a beautiful drive out to Cooperstown.

August 25, 2009 (Tuesday) - Saratoga Art In the Park, Congress Park, Saratoga Springs, New York [10:00am to 6:00pm].

SHOW INFORMATION: This Saratoga Art in the Park show is on a Tuesday during “Track Season.”  Tuesday is a “dark day” at the track.  This show provides an alternative to just sitting around waiting for the Track to reopen on Wednesday.

September 12, 2009 (Saturday) - 58th Annual Stockade Villagers Art Show, Schenectady, New York [10:00am to 4:00pm].  Note:  Rain Date September 13th 2009

SHOW INFORMATION: The Stockade Villagers Art Show is a fun day in early September.  The streets  surrounding the Indian monument, on Ferry and Front Streets, are closed to traffic for the day and artists setup to share, show, sell and talk art.  The creative energy is strong and invigorating.  You might want to consider attending if you’re in the area.
