Morning Coffee

Good morning!  I just love weekend mornings.  Wake up when you want to (once your kids are grown), make coffee, let the dog out and back in, feed the dog, drink coffee, no pressure to be anywhere or to do anything.  During winter we typically motivate sometime after we watch our favorite program,  “Sunday Morning.”  It’s a great show, giving news, art, music, humor, commentary and more.  It’s a great excuse to just be, enjoy your coffee and watch the birds.  F.Y.I. we tried a new coffee last week that’s been around a while - Eight O’Clock Coffee.  It’s great and inexpensive.  I was surprised, so used to buying more expensive coffee thinking they were so much better - they must be, they cost more.  Not so.  Try Eight O’Clock.  If you want flavored - add a little cinnamon - wa-lah!

Anyway, today is the Superbowl XLIII.  I actually know who’s playing.  OK….  Pittsburgh and Arizona.  I ususally watch the commercials.  The game doesn’t thrill me even though I did play powder puff football in high school (I was pretty good - if I must say so myself).  I’m thinking I’ll root for the Arizona Cardinals because my Mom & Dad are in Arizona and I like birds.  Hey, that’s as good an excuse as any!  Wish me luck.
